Mrs. Lauren Smith

Hello there! My name is Lauren Smith and I am the elementary STEAM and Gifted Education teacher here at Northern Cambria.  This is my 3rd year here at NC!  

 

I graduated from Penns Manor in 2007 and attended IUP for my bachelors degree in Child Development & Family Relations.  I also attended Carlow University where I earned my MEd. in Early Childhood Education.  

 

I absolutely love my role as the STEAM & Gifted teacher!  We do so much hands-on learning in my classroom.  Students learn through building and creating.  They test their creativity and problem solving skills in a way they may not be able to do in their regular classroom!
