Mrs. Chelsey Daisley

Hello! I am Chelsey Daisley, high school English teacher.  I teach 9th grade ELA, 9th grade Honors ELA, and 12th grade ELA (one class). I have been teaching for 15 years. I spent the first 8 years of my teaching career at Harmony School District, before finding my way to Northern Cambria.  I have multiple certifications so I have taught many different grades and subjects over the last 15 years, but my favorite is junior high & high school ELA! My favorite things to teach in ELA are grammar and novels.  

As a teacher, I believe that we should never stop learning and that each student can teach me something, as we learn from each other. I also firmly believe in the importance of reading and being read to, beginning at a young age.  This is why I love the quote from a Dr. Seuss book:  The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.

I love teaching and my goal is to help all students succeed, but success only happens with open lines of communication.  I encourage all parents and students to contact me with any problems, questions, or concerns, so that we can reach success!
